The steps I provided where for Samsung devices in general. This is to assigns sounds settings during the call. Choose from: Call connect tone, Minute minder, and Call end tone. Do you see that setting on the device? There is no setting for Minute Minder. Selects whether alarm and message notification is turned off during a call.
I think we went through all the alerts. I will do some more research and see what I can find out. It seems to happen no matter where I am and with multiple different callers, although I really notice it a lot with my Mom, and only occasionally with others. WiFi Calling is turned off. I also have almost all notifications turned off and the beeps don't coincide with any incoming texts or call waiting or e-mails.
I've had some people say that turning off the VoLTE setting might help, although I understand that significantly slows down your phone? Essentially saying that this is a flaw in Sprint's technology, although I've seen on other sites that people with different carriers are experiencing it as well.
There hasn't been anyone who had a way to fix it though if this is what it is. I don't know.

It is very annoying during calls, and sounds like the person I am talking to is hitting buttons with their face and making a dialing sound. The person on the other end does not hear the beeps. It is somewhat sporadic not like a minute timer , and will sometimes make several beeps in short succession and then sometimes go a few minutes without another one. I would not say it's a Samsung or Apple issue either. It appears as such, but I believe they are a victim of their own popularity. Most folks have Apples or Samsungs. What's the issue? Settings, Call settings, all calls, call status tones. Uncheck minute minder. Thanks for the response, but I don't have any of those options under settings. I even tried searching the settings section looking for Call Settings, or Minute minder, and nothing came up. This is a newer Galaxy S8, and the settings are different than on my previous Galaxy phones. Juan, I found a different section for "Settings" when I opened the phone app. Notifications are off. Your notifications are currently off and you won't receive subscription updates.
To turn them on, go to Notifications preferences on your Profile page.
